Sons vs. Moms

Problem: Create an informational book to show one of the problems that society faces nowadays in regards to mother and son relationships.
Process: Through an extensive research and reflections from my own experiences, I collected information and pictures to create an informational book in an easy and summarized way to read and understand. The book is going to show some of the most common cases when mothers and sons argue during the transitional period from teen to adulthood.
Solution: Create a book based on opposite concepts. The pages include pictures and phrases used by mothers and sons in the middle of an argument. Using black and white as a color palette, and serif and san serif fonts to distinguish each one, I created the perfect way to show the book and the opposite concept. This design simplified the way to read the book, making the book more easy to read and understand.
