Problem: Create a new brandmark and a new brand identity system for Applebee’s restaurant.

Process: The process begins with the conduction of an exploratory audit to know and understand Applebee’s and its competitors branding context, mission, vision and values. Using the research from the audit, I developed the idea to create a new brandmark and a new brand identity system for Applebee’s, in order to improve and maintain the Applebee’s brand and company’s success.

Solution: Create a brand identity, which represents the mission, vision and values of the company. In addition, create a corporate brand manual for the new Applebee’s brand identity. The manual provides the specific instructions to determine the implementation of the new brand identity system. An effective value proposition should lead to a relationship between the brand and the customer and drive purchasing decisions.
